Point of view

Advertisingis the logisticsof attention.

A live panel mid-conversation, one speaker on a microphone, a camera on a tripod filming it and a seated audience watching.

The premise
Agency AF philosophy

People already want things.

People already have problems.

People already make decisions.

Almost nothing in advertising creates desire from nothing. What it does — when it's good — is arrive at the moment a decision is being made, with the thing that makes the decision easier.

So our job is not to be clever at people. It's to understand where attention actually moves, and build the infrastructure that gets the right story to the right person at the moment it's useful.

Who we are

An advertising company that can hold a camera.

Agency AF sits between two things that are usually separated: the strategy that decides what should exist, and the production that makes it.

Most agencies do one and subcontract the other, which is why so much marketing looks well made and does nothing. We'd rather own both and be accountable for the result.

How we work

Five things we actually do.

  1. 01

    Diagnose before prescribing.

The brief is almost never the problem. We'd rather spend the first hour finding the real one.

  2. 02

    Every asset gets a job.

If we can't say what a piece of content is supposed to do, we don't make it.

  3. 03

    Say the true thing.

We don't invent proof, borrow numbers or dress up a result. It's not a moral position, it's a commercial one — it's the only way the second year works.

  4. 04

    Build systems, not campaigns.

A campaign ends. Infrastructure compounds. We're interested in the second one.

  5. 05

    Turn down bad fits.

We're expensive if you want posts and cheap if you want customers. We'll tell you which one you're buying.

The people

Small team.Short chain.

Small team. Short chain.

The people you meet are the people who do the work. There's no account layer between the strategy and the camera.
